Bricks + Mortar Location: Balanced Design does not have a bricks and mortar location. We sell accents online and through retail partners. Fabric is exclusively to the trade. Custom rugs are available direct to the customer and to the trade. Please contact us at info@balanced-design.com for additional information.

Fabrics + Pillows Made in the USA: Our fabrics are hand printed in Rhode Island. Pillows are sewn in Fall River, Massachusetts. We always try to work as locally as possible and in many cases, we are able to work within a 25 miles radius of our Rhode Island studio.

Product Materials/Eco-Friendly: We use a variety of materials, balancing eco- friendly ideals with manufacturing capabilities. Our pillow inserts are 95/5 feather. Our designs are printed on 100% cotton canvas, 55% linen / 45% cotton, or 50% linen / 50% cotton . Our products use either water based inks or dyes. Our wool felt is appliquéd onto 100% linen. Fabrics are hand printed in a domestic mill adhering to DEP and EPA practices using water based dyes with no solvents on responsibility prepared fabrics. Natural gum carrier is used for dyes. No residual chemicals are present in the finished goods.

Variations in Hand Made Products: Colors and textures may vary slightly for all hand printed pieces. Variations in fabric and color are characteristic of hand printed products and are not considered flaws.

Product Care: Linen and canvas pillows should be spot cleaned or washed separately in cold with mild detergent and line dried. Felt pillows should be dry cleaned. Tufted area rugs are for indoor use only. Exposure to direct sunlight should be considered in placement. Professionally clean every two years. Sprouting and shedding of yarn is expected for several months and is not a defect. Lift fibers gently and trim flush with rug.

Free Shipping for Accents: We ship via FEDEX GROUND.

Fabric Shipping: Unfortunately, we do NOT offer free shipping on fabric orders. However, we are able to use the customer's own shipping account, if requested.

 

Lead Times: Most times our items ship within 2-3 days. Some items are sewn to order and may ship 7-10 days after the order date. Custom orders have varying lead times. Please ask about shipping for custom work when ordering. Rugs have a 12-16 week lead time.

International Shipping: We offer delivery throughout the continental United States only.

Accents Return Policy: Return or exchange your item(s) within 15 days of receipt, in its original condition with the original sales receipt. Please contact us with the reason for the return or exchange. We will send you a return shipping address and a return authorization number. We are unable to refund original shipping and handling costs on returned items. For items that were shipped to you free of charge, you will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs on any returns that are not damaged or incorrect. You will be advised of your non-refundable shipping charge when we send you a return authorization number. Packages must be sent with freight prepaid. COD NOT ACCEPTED.

 

All fabric, special orders, rugs and sale items are FINAL SALE. No returns or exchanges will be authorized on these items. We cannot accept returns for items purchased at locations other than this site, either through another on-line retailer or through a retail store. Requests for returns made more than 15 days following the date of receipt will not be authorized.
